Inventory and finished goods stock management
Stock that matches the record, because the record is where the stock comes from. Every piece in and out is logged against the exact variant, by the person who moved it.
What it does
Inventory management in Factora
Stock per variant
Track on-hand quantity for each product variant, not just the product, so the 12-inch matt black and the 18-inch gold are never counted together.
Every stock in and out on record
Each movement is logged with the quantity, the variant, who recorded it and when, building a full movement ledger for every item.
Minimum levels and low-stock alerts
Set a minimum stock level on each variant. Anything that falls below it is flagged as low, so shortages show up before they hold up an order.
Fed by production
When a production job card is completed, its good quantity is added to finished goods automatically — no second entry, and no chance of the two drifting apart.
Export to CSV
Export stock lists to CSV to share, audit or open in a spreadsheet whenever you need them outside the application.

How it works with the rest of Factora
Inventory in Factora is written by the work, not typed in beside it. Completing a job adds to finished goods against the variant on the job card; that same variant's minimum level decides when it reads as low.

Common questions
Can I track stock by size or finish?
Yes. Stock is kept per product variant, so each size, finish or other variation has its own on-hand quantity and its own minimum level.
Does completing a job update stock automatically?
Yes, for new production. When a production job card is completed, its good quantity is added to finished goods for that variant, with no separate stock entry needed. Repair jobs do not add stock.
Can I export my inventory?
Yes. Stock lists can be exported to CSV and opened in any spreadsheet application.
