What is a job card in manufacturing?
A job card is the record of one piece of production work: what is being made or repaired, how many, for whom, which steps it goes through and who does each. Factora keeps it digital and live, so its status updates as the work moves.
Can I print job cards?
Yes. Any job card prints as a single clean sheet with its details, instructions and process flow, ready to travel with the work on the shop floor.
Does it handle repair jobs as well as new production?
Yes. A job card is created as either a new job or a repair job, and each type asks for the details that matter for it.
What happens when a job is completed?
You record the good and rejected quantity. For new production, the good quantity is added to finished goods stock automatically; a repair records its quantities without adding stock. Either way the job then moves on to be picked up or dispatched.
